Building CSOs Capacities and Engagement for Empowering Communities in Accountability of Regional Government” project in north-east zone of Afghanistan

ECW is implementing the “Building CSOs Capacities and Engagement for Empowering Communities in Accountability of Regional Government” project in north-east zone of Afghanistan.

The main purpose of this project is to build CSOs capacity for making the government accountable toward Civil Society and citizen of the country.

For this purpose ECW ACEP Advocacy experts conducted two-days on-the-job training for 3 staff including 1 female and 2 males of CSIO organization. The main objectives were enhance them in capacity building skills on “Management principle” and “One-minute management” based on their own demands and requisitions. This training was conducted in two days from July 24the to July 25th, 2019. We covered topics on fundamental definition of management, Office communication, sender and receiver models, four sites of communication, Four listener’s ear, tracking system, report writing and few more. It was mainly focused on Values and Basics of One-minute Management, Aims of One-Minute Management, Skills of One-minute Management, One-minute Management Encouragement and One-minute Criticism.

The training has helped the CSIO staff to get completely and practically oriented with the given topics and they have expressed hope that they will be able to translate their learning into practice.
